Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve day started out with another morning of sledding.  They really just can't get enough.  After sledding we had a quick bite to eat at Wendy's.

I hadn't gotten a picture of the kids by the tree, so I forced them to sit down for a quick snapshot.  But with my kids (especially Calla), it never ends up being quick.  I need to get better at that....or just learn how to photoshop...or tie calla's arms and legs together to get her to hold still.

We went up to Woods Cross and visited with Lee and Brenda and their family for a little while, then we were off to Centerville.
Christmas Eve was up and Grandma and Grandpa Cookie's this year.  We caught Calla, Carly, and Hallie standing on a surfboard and dancing to a cookie jar that played Surfin' USA.  They would dance and dance until the song stopped, then one of them would run over to open up the lid and set of the music, and they would all dance some more.

We always go to one grandparent's house for Christmas Eve, and the other set of Grandparents on Christmas day.  So the kids get to unwrap gifts both days.
We had Branden and Jen's family for Christmas this year.  We got them an old school Atari with a ton of games pre-programmed in.  Nathan and Tanner spent a lot of their time watching the old games and thinking they were so cool.  What is up with this?  They absolutely love a game called Minecraft.  It has horrible graphics!  All the advancements we have in graphics, and they just love the old school look.  So they thought the Atari was pretty cool.

Another "quick" shot of the kids in their new PJ's before Santa comes.

We had the kids all sleep in the girl's room this year.  The boys slept on the top bunk, and the girls on the bottom.  I LOVE these pictures.  "The children were nestled all snug in their beds."
