Happy Birthday Calla! My little baby is two years old, going on 6. She thinks she is just as big as the other kids. Anything they can do, she can do too. This gets her into a bit of trouble. She was lucky enough to spend her birthday in San Diego with her cousins this year.
Here are a few of Calla's favorites (I'm writing this blog 4 months later, so some of her favorites are as of 2 years and 4 months....but who's counting)
- Favorite color: Pink and Purple
- Favorite things to do: jump on the trampoline, swim, climb EVERYTHING, go to the park
- TV show: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (and now it includes Little Einsteins)
- Movie: Monsters inc
- Treat: M&Ms
- Animal: Horse
- Song: "I Love to See the Temple", "I am a Child of God", and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"--all of which she sings constantly. Singing could be added to her list of favorite things to do.
- Book: Pinkalicious and Purplicious
She loves balloons, so we made sure she had plenty of them around when she woke up on her Birthday.
What better way to spend the day than doing a few of her favorite things: playing in the sand and in the water. She is really into smiling really big for her pictures. It's hard to get a picture with her eyes open anymore. She had such a great day getting as dirty and wet as she wanted, and mommy encouraging her to do it.
Opening her presents...many of which included Minnie Mouse. When they are so into a character, you can't help yourself.
She absolutely loved her Minnie Mouse cake. The figure on top has become her favorite. She is really into singing Happy Birthday to people, and enjoyed being the center of attention this time.
With all the trouble she gets into, I'll see if I can keep her safe to make it to 3!
